Thank you everyone for your prayers and encouragement. Amy and I appreciate it very much. We want you all to know that during this period of our seeking to give attention to rebuild our marriage strong, we are staying together as much as we can, staying in the same house, sleeping in the same room, having long chats and heart to heart talks, speaking with various pastors and friends, while keeping the ministry going. On a personal basis, I have spoken to Ps William Vun of GCC church in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and he and his wife, Lorna, have agreed to be our counsel during this time to help us (Ps William has a church of about 1000 members and they have recently moved into a building that seats 2500 people. Church website gcc.org.my). We are also thankful to all the various pastors who have offered their help and support… Ps Chris and Grace of Malaysia, Ps Lyall of New Zealand, Ps Brett of New Zealand and all of our pastors and team in Singapore. Also we are grateful for the prayers and encouragement from those of you in the Bible school, friends and partners in the ministry, and various old friends in the ministry who have stood with us through thick and thin like Jeffrey and Rowena, and many others of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are very much encouraged. We are definitely working hard to see our marriage strong and stable; and with all the help, counsel and support that is coming in, we know definitely that we will make it through, and be able to stand and say that Yes, our marriage is stronger than ever before and will last till Jesus comes again.
On the ministry side, we want to thank those who have stepped up to help out and are grateful to Ps William and his team who are looking at what help that they can render to us in Sydney. And we are also grateful to our local church congregation in Sydney who are finding their places to help out in the ministry and to play more active roles. It is indeed in a time of crisis that we see who are friends are and where people’s hearts are really at.
And here is a word from Ps Amy…”whatever crisis happens in your life, you have to determine to let the love of God to continue to fill you and overflow you. So that whatever comes out from your heart, you remain pure and lovely. I want to thank those who have been with us through the past five months when the crisis was at its peak who have helped to pray us through and see us through. We would not be where we are without each of you. A great lesson I have learned is to never despise your spouse in the way Michal despised David and think he was a worthless base fellow (2 Samuel 6:20). Most of Israel do not think of David in that manner nor God Himself. Today we do not think of David in that manner either but consider him one of the Bible heroes. The key to the restoration of a broken relationship, a broken heart or a broken marriage lies in keeping your heart pure and lovely at all times. I will be constantly praying together with my two intercessors, Lindy and Irene, during this time and also having heart to heart talks with my husband and praying together with him. We are making progress in our efforts to mend our marriage and make it strong again.”
So once again, we want to thank everyone for all your prayers, support, encouragement and help during this time. In foreseeing the time of Peter’s failure and denial of Jesus, Jesus said that He had prayed for Peter’s faith not to fail (Luke 22:32). It is through so much prayers and intercessions offered that we know that we will definitely make it strong and not fail. Thank you for all the prayers and intercessions. We look forward to giving a good report at the end of these three month period but will update this blog on our progress from time to time.
Dear Pastors Peter & Amy
Thank you Ps. Peter for all your wholesome teachings at CoG, Singapore. Ever since I make CoG, Singapore my home church, you have fed me so full with all the holistic and wholesome teachings and I am still receiving. Ps. Peter, I want you to know that you are a pastor who walks the talk, esp. when you talk about loving God and doing God’s will. I can feel God’s love flow out thru you and your worship really reaches up to God’s throne because I could feel God’s presence very strong whenever you lead us in worshipping God.
I will definitely uplift you and Ps. Amy before Papa God in prayer.

Dear pas Peter,
With reference to your 2 mails on your blog, Chris & I pray that YAH will take full control of the situation and His Mercy & Grace will be sufficient for the restoration of your marriage and family. It’s not for man to judge anybody but Almighty God is the Judge of all. We as the Body of Christ should NOT condone sin but our Merciful Father will forgive and restore fully when there is Full REPENTANCE. The Body of CHRIST ought to be strong at this hour, be united and in Agape to fulfill His Instructions.
We ask for Thorough HEALING on u and your family. in Jesus’ Name. May His Agape envelope u all. OVERCOMERS WILL INHERIT ALL THINGS.
Chris & Grace
Dear pastor Peter Tan and Pastor Amy,
We will not stop praying for you until we receive the good news from you. Please remember that you are not alone. We love you and we bless you. And I believe that Jesus is also praying for you.
We stand strong with both of you Pastor Peter. We appreciate the ministry of Ps. Amy very much
The two things I’ve learned in your guidance through the past year are Love and Humility. Once you said if you don’t fulfill God’s perfect will for you, you are delaying many others to fulfill God’s perfect will for them. Here I pray fir the unity in the Body of Christ and your fulfilling God’s will for yourself.
Glad to hear the progress, will be in prayers of love for you and the family today.
God bless and love much.
Standing with you both in prayer. God bless you both
I am so sorry. Praying for you both and for your relationship. I pray you will both be able to exercise the gifts the Lord has placed within you as you walk though this difficult time, and change, and find new levels of understanding. Change is so important. The Lord is showing you how. You have my respect and empathy as you walk through this very difficult time. I know you will make it through it.
Love to you, precious ones who have blessed my life beyond measure!
Thanks for sharing your challenges and struggles in your family with us. We will be believing and praying for the best for you and your family. We pray that your faith in God will be strengthened during these times of testings. We hope one day you would share with us how the Lord turned things around and caused all things work out for the good for those who loved Him. It would be nice to see Pastor Amy ministering together with Pastor Peter in a Marriage seminar! We need God in our marriages … most of us are struggling in this area. Thank you, Pastor Amy for sticking with your man.
God bless.
Hi Peter and Amy
It was so wonderful to see you ministering together here in NZ in 2009. I have been through marriage difficulties myself and now my wife and I are a very close couple. I will pray for complete restoration and blessing in your marriage. May you both fulfil your destinies in God-together. Much love, prayers and blessing, Chris, ChCh, NZ
I will be praying for you and Pastor Amy. I can not begin to tell you how much your ministry has blessed my life. Thank you.
Love in Christ.
I just want to tell you that I love you pastors Peter and Amy Tan.
We are thankful to God for sending you, Pst Peter to Singapore to build and prepare her people for the coming revival. Also appreciate the many sacrifices both Pst Peter and Pst Amy have made. Just a few weeks ago, my wife commended on Pst Amy that she is an extraordinary woman of God after listening to her sermons. She felt it’ll be good if Pst Amy can come here to minister together with Pst Peter. It will truly be a blessing to the church especially the sisters.
My wife and I kept visiting COG for more than a year now because of the depth & truths revealed in GOD’s word, prayer & worship here. Thankyou for your ministry. We will continue to uphold the both of you in prayer. May our Lord Jesus bless & keep you both and family!
-Psalms 46, Roms 8:37
I have learnt so much from your teachings and though I do not know you personally , I know that you love God and are called according to his Purpose and that you are seeking him at this very difficult time– I KNOW that God our Father who sits on the Seat Called Mercy will cause all these things to work together for your Good. The God whom you serve will show himself strong on your behalf and it will be well with you.
To the rest of the body of Christ I say this : we have been watered much through Pastors Amy and Peter. it is now time for us to water them much and refresh them with ernest prayers to our Father so that they will come out with greater fellowship with the Father and cause greatt shaking in the Kingdom of darkess to the Glory of God our Father. We simply should refuse to be silnced till they are fully restored in their love for each other and to the ministry God has entrusted to them. we need to resit every wile of the enemy because as the Church of Jesus Christ the gates of hell cannot prevail against us. it is time to put some holy anger to our prayers and refuse to settle for anything less than the very perfect will of God for Pastos Amy and Peter
To Pastor Amy and Peter you are such beautiful people I just want say to you, now it is time to go over even some of your teachings that Holy Spirit gave you to share with the body of Christ you know what? those messages contain power and as they have worked for so many , they will surely work for you too. I perceive that God has a higher level still in Him that He wants to take you. Read Mark 1:9-13 and also Isaiah 35. there is a way that God has provided for his people that they will not get lost on it. I have so much to say but will stop here for now
Dear Pastor Peter & Pastor Amy
Thank you for sharing this with us. We love both of you so dearly. We pray that Gods hand is upon your marriage and strengthen this relationship in Jesus name.
God Bless you both.
Janie & Bill

Dear Pastor Peter, thank you for your ministry. Your ministry in the Lord has truly been a blessing in my life; and, many lives in CoG. God is so wonderful, blessed you with such great treasure, a precious wife, Ps Amy and lovely children. What a beautiful family ordained of the Lord. Challenges there will be, but those who are called by the Lord, abide in His Word & Love, whose trust is in Him fully, will surely overcome and further be strengthened in and through Him. I look forward to you and your wife (Ps Peter & Ps Amy), when both of you are here in CoG. You are in my prayer. Love in Christ, Grace
